I'm just looking for any feedback or others' experiences regarding this NTSC field 2 business. I apologize if my post here is a little convoluted. I've also tried using instead, the 'Change Dominance' tool to 'Field 2' in Smoke (which is the same as 'Change Scan Mode' in Flame) and then tried laying off to tape, but this does not render anything to the array, and therefore the layoff looks bad. This is what I have done, and seems to work, but I want to see if others might use this method as well.ģ) after adding pulldown, using the 'Dominance' tool in the video tools, and using 'Rev Dominance' to reverse the dominance of the clip (this processes/renders a new clip to the array), thus giving a field 2 (F2) clipĭoing this has allowed me to successfully layoff to tape. If I now use a field 2 NTSC project, what further steps do I need to do? Starting with a 1080p/23.98 HD master sequence, this is what our old workflow was:Ģ) add pulldown (resulting in a 29.97 fps (F1) clip)

At this point, I'm not exactly sure how to alter our usual workflow. So, with the advent of more and more digital deliveries for commercials, I eventually learned that my deliveries should in fact be field 2 (lower field first). When adding pulldown, the resulting clip is. These skills in general are short range physical attacks and a lot of them can be used in a middle of combo. Every character has four super slots for different super attacks. They are divided in four categories, Strike Skills (Strike Supers), Ki Blasts (Ki Supers or Ki Blast Supers), Power Ups (buffs) and Other. I've always created my NTSC projects field 1, and have never had any of our NTSC masters be bounced back because they were not field 2. Super Attack or Super Skill is a class of attacks in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. When adding pulldown, the resulting clip is always field 1, so I assumed that my NTSC projects should be field 1. I work on both Flame and Smoke, and for years, I've apparently been creating NTSC projects and masters incorrectly at field 1.
